howdy!

if we haven't met, i'm cate tedford. i am currently in my third year at clemson university, studying spanish and philosophy. i spend most of my free time reading, and my preferred form of movement is running (i like yoga, too!). i (have) work(ed) as an engineering and science education researcher, an anthropologie sales associate, a legal assistant, and a whitewater raft guide. i dabble in writing poetry, and mary oliver is my gospel. i think i want to go to law school someday, but honestly, i'm not sure. life is long and wild and precious, and i am along for the journey.

i am studying abroad in alicante, spain this semester, and i am going to try to write about here. i think i will thank myself later. that's all for now. stay tuned!
